NTRA is Egyptian state telecommunications administration bureau, NTRA promulgated laws and regulations, the provisions of all communication equipment used in Egypt, including various types of desktop telephone, facsimile (fax) equipment, plug-in / pay telephone, LPU (line protection device) equipment, various types of exchange machine, GSM mobile phone, antenna transmission and receiving equipment, satellite communications equipment, cordless phones, radar installations and other indoor wired or wireless information technology communication device needs to obtain the NTRA authentication type.

NTRA approved international certification and certification mark, including FCC, CE, that is to apply for NTRA certification of telecommunications equipment to meet the requirements of CE, FCC, through the relevant standards for testing, and to obtain a certificate of recognition and labeling.

The basic requirements of NTRA certification: application equipment must obtain CE or FCC certification; the production plant of the application equipment must obtain ISO9001 certification; export to Egypt port equipment must be consistent with the application of the NTRA certificate.

4. Who needs to apply for type approval NTRA
A: Anyone initial supply of telecommunications equipment in the Egyptian market, firm or company, including: any manufacturing or assembly of communications products to local manufacturers or their authorized agencies; any foreign principal; interest on behalf of overseas clients in any locally registered agency

6. How many models at most can be presented on a VOC certificate?
A: VOC can reflect a series of up to three models.

7. Can multiple trademark be presented on one VOC? What if there is more than one prototype with a trademark?
A: a VOC can only reflect a trademark; if there is more than one trademark series models, you need to apply separately, one trademark on one certificate;

8. If the same series prototype, with the same motherboard but different antennas, can they be placed on the same certificate?
A: If there are differences between different GSM antenna prototype within the series, the series of models cannot be presented on the same certificate. Series models are required filing another certificate on the basis of the main tested model.
