CM logo is the unified logo of electrical products. The logo is a trademark of Australia and New Zealand's regulatory body,meaning the products are in compliance with safety regulations and EMC requirements.,it is not mandatory.
RCM,Regulatory Compliance Mark Is a sign of registration,CM=Safety (Product safety certification)+ EMC + Importer Declaration。Indicates that the supplier's statement of the product is in line with the Australian state and New Zealand's electrical safety laws / regulations and other requirements,at the same time to meet the provisions of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements of in Australia and New Zealand " Radio communication law" .
Only products in accordance with the requirements of electrical safety regulations and EMC regulations can use RCM logo.
RCM implementation timetable:
Australian Communications and Media Authority(ACMA)combine the existing three conformity mark(C-Tick、A-Tick和SAA)into a single conformity mark RCM,the logo was started in March 2013.
1. Since March 1, 2013,New agents must be logged in to the new database,and use the RCM logo.
2. Since March 1, 2016,New and old agents are required to log in in the new database,and use the RCM logo.
3. Old agents in the three year transition period,can continue to use C-tick or A-tick mark;The transition period expired, the old logo on the device will need to re label.
TXB testing can provide security testing report and recognition certificate(SAA certificate or NSW certificate)and EMC testing report(c-tick testing report or certificate),the test results have been recognized by the Australian authorities。After the customers get the SAA certificate and C-tick certificate,Australia or New Zealand entity holding Australia enterprise number(ABN)or New Zealand tax bureau number(IRD)can go to the relevant website for registration application. 1. The third party lab evaluate the products,confirm the testing standards for execution;
2. If the testing appear non-conformance term,the laboratory will modify the product to meet the requirements of the Australian Standard;
3. Test pass, issue a test report;
4. Submit the test report to the Australian certification body for document review;
5. Australia audit, issuing RCM certificate;
6. Customers can do it themselves or let the laboratory to complete the Australian website registration work;
